| Muscovy Ducks Our Muscovies are some of my favorite farm critters! They may not be the prettiest to look at with their red bumpy faces but their social behavior and vibrant colors more then make up for their freaky complexions! They are great mothers and excellent layers of the best extra large baking eggs you'll ever use! |
| Colored Egg Layers! At Bumpy Pastures we are all about colors! Our Highlands come in seven different colors, our Icelandics are far more then your basic white sheep and even our collies will show us up to four different colors of pups in each litter! So why then would we want just brown or white eggs? We have chosen the variety of pure breed chickens you see here to make the most colorful dozen eggs possible. Our children find a rainbow adventure each time they reach into the nest boxes of green, blue, brown, white, pink and chocolate colored eggs! The feathers are just as pleasing to a rainbow lovers eye and all are big hearty breeds producing enough eggs for our family and our egg customers nearly all year round! |
